Online Fault Diagnosis Method for Grid-Connected Inverters Based on Finite-Set Mixed Logical Dynamical Model Prediction

The grid-connected inverter is a key device in the renewable energy power generation system and large-scale storage system, which operational stability reliability are basis for efficient safe application of electrical energy. A real-time fault diagnosis method three-phase combining mixed logic dynamic (MLD) model finite control set predictive (FCS-MPC) proposed. This paper not only realizes open circuit location switching devices main circuit, but also discusses threshold issues post-fault operations. advantage proposed that it directly uses data measurement signals controller without extra sensors calculation, will shorter time occupy less calculation resource processor. Simulation results illustrate quickness identification accurate position with robustness to interference method. Finally, effectiveness was verified by 1500W experimental prototype laboratory.
